Mobio Launches Mobile Lifestyle Applications
Mobio is a company that wants to make the usage of the mobile web easier, faster and more relevant to your ineterests. They are opening the new program. It works like this: 50 mobile applications ae grouped into 8 “lifestyle” areas.
The company claims that with these 50 applications they’ve got the whole mobile web covered. Instead of surfing the vast mobile Internet with its full-pages, Mobio will bring you small mobile-optimazed applications - “only those bits of the web that is relevant for [you] given [your] specific tastes, interests, geography, as well as the task [you] are trying to accomplish at a particular moment in time.” A little earlier a similar attempt was made by Misrocsoft with its Deepfish.
