The Secret of Mobile Advertising through Games


Cellcom.gifCellcom, the largest mobile operator in Israel, has launched the new game-based advertising campaign. The titles of the game and some other game parts are free to subscribers. The company has claimed that a couple of big names as Nokia, McDonalds, Diadora, Adidas and Samsung are already in.

The press release says:

“Ads appear as product placement in the game and within different areas of a games environment. The digital coupons and product placement methods used in the trial have proven themselves with high conversion rates among clients.”

Still there is a question: will this be a one-time action or a steady viable project. Let’s see, now the answer is just a matter of time.
