BBC Tops Mobile Web in the UK. Yahoo! - in the USA
Telephia and comScore has announced the results of the latest study on the Internet. The study compared the usage of mobile Internet in comparison to PC based one. The study has revealed that the number of mobile Internet users in the UK has reached 5.7 million by January. It makes about 20% of the number of PC based users. Practically the same percentage is in the U.S.
Some other results of the study:
- In the UK 63% mobile Internet users are male, PC based male users make 54%. In the U.S. it is 60% and 49% accordingly.
- In the UK 67% of mobile web users are younger than 35, among PC users it is 39%. In the US the numbers are 46% and 37% accordingly.
