Orange SPV C200 Review

Orange_CPV_C200.jpgAs expected Orange have continued the SPV brand with a Windows Mobile Smartphone NOT manufactured by HTC. Orange France have announced the SPV C200, a budget Smartphone featuring Windows Mobile 5 and seemingly based on the Amoi E72 reference design.

The SPV C200 will be triband and feature GSM/GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth and an integrated 1.3 mega-pixel camera but will not feature WiFi. Its a fairly lightweight device at 85 grams and, although should be available soon with prices starting at 9 EURO on a 24 month contract which is pretty cheap but then I guess it needs to be considering its rather dated specifications.

Features:

• Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone Edition AKU 2.3
• EDGE/GPRS/GSM 900/1800 MHz
• TI OMAP850 201Mhz
• 64MB ROM
• 64MB RAM
• 2″ 176 x 220 TFT with 65536 colours
• Bluetooth 1.2 with A2DP
• 1.3mp camera
• miniUSB connector for sync / charge / headphones
• miniSD slot
• 1150mAh battery
• up to 3.5 - 5 hrs talktime
