What Everybody Ought to Know About Mobile Etiquette

Do you think there are some mobile actions that fall under the category “mobile etiquette”? Sometimes we or other people do things that annoy or outrage other people, don’t we?
Everyone must find such habits and first of all admit the fact that his/her etiquette needs some work. Do you have a habit of calling someone in case you don’t get an immediate reply to your messages? That’s it! It is a matter of etiquette, habits, preferences. Some people simply don’t like answering to messages immediately (for example if they are out in the street or in the tube e.t.c.) and your message will be answered, but a little later. I would say it is the case of the collision of habits. At the same time such behavior might be caused by your own impatience. Just think, are all your messages worth sending?
There is also another example of mobile habits. Some people call and in case they get no answer, they don’t live messages. They try to explain it this way: if I call, the number is displayed, so there is no need to leave a message. Do you think it is reasonable?
Still others rarely check their voice mail. They believe it is easier to check who called and call back. I suppose it is the case with the ones who don’t leave voice messages themselves.
And the most ridiculous thing is that although quite a number of people do these things themselves, they can’t beat when it is done to them! So let’s introduce the term “mobile etiquette»! But what does the term mean? In general, I would say there is only one basic rule: don’t do things to the others you don’t want to be done to you. In fact, the rule is universal and is quite appropriate to any sphere of life.
There is a great idea about the introduction of mobile etiquette. When we buy a new device, there is always a user’s manual to teach us to use it. Should there be another manual teaching HOW to use it? Until there is not, all you can do is tell people to stop doing things that annoy you!
