Bango Mobile Services - Simplify the Delivery of Mobile Content

The developer of software solutions Bango has introduced the new way of solving technical issues while delivering digital content to mobile users. The new technology developed by the company will enable users by inserting it into web-pages, e-mail messages to receive multimedia content pressing a single button.

The offer might become a real hit with the users of the social bookmarking networks such as Facebook or MySpace.

Ray Anderson, Bango CEO, explains:

“I can attach “BangoButton” to any photo on my Facebook profile and thus let any of my friends get that photo to their handsets. Without the application it is quite problematic to find the photo on the mobile version of the site, as one has to go to the homepage of the portal and search for the photo from there.”

The new service “Bango Button” (you can try it on the official page of the company) consists of a special browser code enabling immediate access to the requested content. The service has been created in order to simplify the spread of free content among friends and relatives.

At the same time, the company has introduced a similar technology for commercial usage (used by commercial providers for delivering paid content). In the latter case the service determines the geographical location of the user and sends the payment information (in the user’s language and local currency).

As an example I can show the usage of the service by the company MTV. Last year MTV used Bango-technologies in order to enlarge the audience span of European Music Awards, the service was used to increase the number of mobile users participating in the show. During the awards the users got an opportunity to download free and paid mobile content right from the stage.
